On Friday 24 October there was great colour and excitement to be seen in the corridors of Scoil Mochaomhog Naofa as the children looked forward to the Halloween mid term break. Mrs Harty’s class put on their scary spider hats and recited haunting poems before getting down to the fun games of “bite the apple” and “peanut races”. Next door Ms Gleeson’s class dressed up in all sorts of Halloween costumes and paraded through the school much to the amusement of teachers and children alike. Throughout the older classrooms there was no shortage of scary masks, Halloween silhouettes and spooky witches.
