On Sunday evening four boys from sixth class completed a fantastic week for the school by winning the Mid Tipperary GAA Quiz. The quiz was held in the Ragg and after finishing second a few years ago this was our first time winning it outright. The winning team was Mark Heffernan, James Dillon, Michael Murphy and Jack Fallon. They finished level with Templemore on a score of 61 out of 64 and held their nerve to prevail after a tie breaker. Our second team of Rory Darmody, Bill Hackett, Diarmaid Maher and Michael Maher also put in a tremendous performance on the night. Many thanks to all the parents who helped to prepare the teams and who came to encourage them on Sunday. Our attention now turns to the county quiz which will be held in the coming weeks.
