Under 13 County Football Semi-final

Two-Mile-Borris overcomes Killenaule
On the 9th of November we had a semi-final in killenaule against killenaule. Before the game started we knew it was going to be a tough match. Daniel Ryan , David O Donell and Mark Hffernan stepped up to Paddy Ivors (ref) and Paddy then threw up the ball . Daniel used his height and jumped up and caught the ball. He passed it right into the forwards and they scored a great point. Killenaule kept trying to score goals but PJ Tunstall (capt) saved them all. PJ took his kick out to Jack Fallon. He passed it to David O Donnell. He sent a long pass into the big mid-fielder Daniel who was on the edge of the box .He jumped up caught the ball, turned and scored our first goal. Our luck continued as Daniel scored another goal and David scored two more great goals. But things were about to take a turn for the worse before half-time as we had to take off Daniel Ryan. Diarmaid Maher came on and Killenaule scored their first point just before half time. The score was 4-5 to 1 point. Our half time subs were Conor Cummins and Sean O Meara. When the second half started they got three quick goals. Later on in the game they could’ve got a goal but David Ryan’s speed allowed him to recover and he managed to block him down. At the end the score was 5-10 to 3-5. Two-Mile-Borris are in the county final in Clonmel, for the second year in a row, against Gaelscoil Cluan Meala.
