Well done to the 32 boys and girls who took part in the Annual School’s Cross Country championship held in Thurles Crokes field on Wednesday 3rd October. Fortunately, we had pleasant weather for the duration of the races and all our pupils acquitted themselves excellently. On an individual basis we had top performances from Anna Ryan, 4th class, who came 4th and Sarah Foley, 6th class, who finished in 8th. All our teams were very much to the front and well done to Bill Hackett, Sean Mockler, Conor Cummins and Jack Morrissey who earned bronze medals. Finally, thanks to all the parents who came to support the children on the day and to the Parent’s Association for providing the bus.
