On Friday the 20th of June Scoil Mochaomhog Naofa had their sports day. It was a nice sunny day. There were 6 different teams, yellow, red, blue, green, white and orange. There were many different events such as sack race, sprint, egg and spoon and many more. There was a lot of competition in almost all of the events. At 1 o clock most of the parents arrived at the school and watched the pupils take part in the races. Every one enjoyed sports day and had great fun.
On Tuesday the 24th of June we had our presentation at 1:30 with the pupils, parents and teachers. First of all we called out who won sports day and it was the green team. After that we called the best pupil out of each class and they all won a trophy. At the end there were raffle prizes. One of the prizes was an Irish jersey signed by Roy Keane and Martin O Neil. There were other prizes such as Elvery’s vouchers, homework off vouchers and many more.
