For the month of December the theme in our Aistear station is The Post Office. The classroom was a hive of activity this week as the children were writing their letters to Santa, buying stamps and posting letters, delivering parcels. In the construction area the children made Post boxes, Post vans and letters. In geography we look at the journey of a letter and a parcel. We met Deirdre our Post woman in the hall as she was delivering parcels to our school! And we are really looking forward to Thursday 13th of December as we are going to visit the sorting Office in Thurles.
