Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed a visit to Thurles Sorting Office today. This linked in with our Aistear theme of The Post Office. We had a great time. We got to see where our postwomans desk is and how each postman or woman sorts the letters. We saw the section for parcels. We were assured that our letters to Santa would definitely reach the North Pole! At the end we all got a drink and some sweets. Thanks to the parents association for funding our bus. A huge thanks to Orna and the staff of the sorting office for allowing us to visit.
