Junior and Senior Infants have really enjoyed the theme of Space as part of Aistear. As part of their SESE they learnt all about the Solar System and completed a class project on this. At the writing station they made their space passports. The children also wrote about their favourite planet.
At the different stations: Role play, Small World, Construction and creative station the children embraced the different roles and enjoyed their experiences. The grandparents were in for a shock on Grandparents day as they too were blasted into space when they visited during our playtime.
