I’m sure many of you are aware that our school is taking part in the Creative Schools Initiative. We are extremely lucky that our school is full of creativity and creative opportunities as it is, the children are also bursting with creativity! Scoil Mochaomhóg Naofa is a hive of excitement with ideas and enthusiasm for all the additional projects we will get a chance to complete.
Our creative associate, Jacintha, paid a most welcome visit to our school on Wednesday. The day started with a number of creative workshops in the GP room, ranging from dance, nature mandalas, shadow puppets, drawing and many more. Following that, the creative schools advisory committee worked enthusiastically to collate all the children’s creative ideas. We are beyond lucky to have a bank of such wonderfully creative ideas that the children came up with.
