Green School

Work on the Green Flags are continuing. Following up from our Plastic Free workshop some members of the green schools committee conducted a survey on the use of plastics in our school. We are looking forward to becoming a plastic free schools.

Students from Junior infants to 2nd class planted our wildflower seed bombs on Thursday – just in time for the rain! This will give them a good start and we look forward to watching our wildflower meadow grow.

The children have become more aware of biodiversity all around them and are spotting many different examples.

Students from Junior and Senior Infants took home their flowers and vegetables which they planted from seeds in school.
