1st and 2nd have been very busy talking all things Halloween! The children compared and contrasted pumpkins and turnips as Jack o Lanterns. They learned all about the Day of the Dead and compared and contrasted it to Halloween in Ireland. The boys and girls also experimented with vinegar and baking soda to make spooky ghosts.
We finished with a class of spooky and wonderful characters on Friday! Well done for the fantastic effort made by everyone.
