The children experimented with different materials to build homes for ‘The Three Little Pigs’ today.
Group 1 used lego to build a brick house. This house did not ‘blow’ down.
Group 2 and 3 used lollipop sticks. This material was very interesting as one house blew down while the other didn’t. On closer inspection, we could see that one of the houses used a lot more lollipop sticks and so was stronger and heavier.
Group 4 and 5 used straws to build their house. This material was rather difficult to work with and ‘blew’ down very easily.
