To celebrate Science Week Junior and Senior infants completed a number of science experiments in class. Our first experiment was to make a class hovercraft, we used an old CD, a bottle cap and a balloon to make a hovercraft. Our second experiment was to inflate a balloon using bread soda and vinegar. The children were amazed with how the balloon inflated when we added the bread soda to the vinegar. Our third experiment was called Dancing Raisins. This showed the difference in the behaviour of the raisins between still water and fizzy water. Our final experiment was making a rainbow with the colours from skittles. The children really enjoyed the experiments.
