We at Kiernan Milling have decided to host an art competition.This competition is being held to encourage children to get creative, unlock their imagination and keep busy while learning at home.The theme of the competition is “The farm and Agricultural Feeds” ( please see our poster attached)Due to high interest the deadline has been extended from the 16th of February to the 28th 2021. There are a number of great prizes up for grabs;• Winners and classmates will receive a tour of Kiernan Milling based in Granard, Co. Longford. (Transport will be provided and paid for – once restrictions are lifted)• Personalised Kiernan Milling Merchandise• A Smyths Toy Store Voucher• If your school is too far away, then we are offering an alternative. A specific one day pass to the ploughing for the winner and their classmates along with parent/guardian (Up to a max of 30)The following are the rules and regulations for the competition; • This competition will be judged independently• The competition is open to children from junior infants up to sixth class• The results will be announced the week after the closing date• Entries can be submitted on either A3 or A4 paper, using crayons ,markers ,paint etc.• All entrants must include on the back of their art work their name, age, class and school address• By entering the competition you are giving permission for the art work to be used on social media but the child’s name will not be disclosed
