Grandparents Day 2019
We are celebrating Catholic Schools Week in our school each day this week. We had a fantastic turnout for our annual Grandparents Day today. We welcomed in excess of 50 grandparents into our school this morning. Thank you to each and every grandparent/relation that took the time to be with us this morning. Thanks to the wonderful PA for providing refreshments for everyone at today’s event – we couldn’t do it without you!
Our wonderful team of SNAs created the beautiful ‘Remembrance Tree’ display for the grandparents who have sadly passed away and could not be with us this morning. We remember them all in our thoughts and prayers.

Village Christmas Carol Event
On Saturday 8th December even the very bad weather didn’t stop the pupils turning up for the turning on of the village Christmas lights. Christmas carols were sang indoors but the lights brightened everyone’s spirit and a great evening was had by all. Well done to the children who sang on the 8th and well done to the committee for the beautiful display of Christmas lights.
St Stephen’s Day Wellie Walk
| The annual Two Mile Borris St Stephens day WELLIE Walk will begin at 12noon. Registration in Corcorans Lounge, back door from 11.30.am. The route will be the same as last year and will go down the Ballyduff road and around the bog and will comeback down main road.There will be hot soup & refreshments for all in Corcorans Lounge after the walk. Adults €10 / Children free. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Please ensure dogs are on a lead. Monies raised will go towards lights, repairs, maintenance & purchases of new lights for Christmas 2019. Please bring along any left over Christmas sweets to Corcorans.
