6th Class were in great spirits going home on Friday as they collected their profits from their successful business venture. Well done to all of 6th class for their hard work and dedication to the project and hopefully some will go on to be successful entrepreneurs in the future.
Junior Entrepreneur Programme
Well done to 6th class who held a very successful showcase day in the GP room on Thursday. Their JEP project ‘Borris Bobble Buddies’ was an overwhelming success and nearly all of the 125 school hats that were ordered have been sold at this stage. 6th class would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported our business by contributing prizes, purchasing hats or supporting the raffle. We held the raffle on Friday morning and had many happy winners.

Thanks to Kieran Bergin sports for donating some jerseys to our raffle, to Jack Hayes who donated Tipp socks and some hurling grips and Dylan Maher of ‘T M Plumbing & Heating’ who donated a €30 Elverys voucher. Hats are still available to purchase in school from 6th class students.
Borris Bobble Buddies
Our school hats arrived today and are proving very popular. These hats are on sale from 6th class at a cost of €13.99 and can be purchased with a crest or without. Please come along to our Showcase day in the GP room on Thursday at 2pm to get your hat before they sell out. Anybody who buys a hat will be entered in a raffle for some sports gear. JEP Showcase Day
Sixth class will host a showcase day next Thursday 14th March from 1pm to 3pm in the GP room. We hope to show off our work on this project so far and we will have our school hats for sale on the day also. These hats are available with a school crest or without at a cost of €13.99. We will have a raffle at the event, everyone who buys a hat gets a free raffle ticket, and complimentary refreshments. All are welcome to attend this event at 2pm as the other school classes will be visiting from 1 to 2pm. All profits from the hats will go to the 6th class business “Borris Bobble Buddies”.
Borris Bobble Buddies
Our 6th class are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme for 2019. As part of this project we will be selling school hats called “Borris Bobble Buddies”. These hats will be available in the school shortly but can be ordered now from Mr McCullagh or any of 6th Class. The hats cost 13.99 Euro and can be ordered in the school colours with/without a crest or bobble. We will also be hosted a school showcase day on Thursday 14th March in the GP room to show off our JEP project.
