At 12 o clock today the children of Scoil Mochaomhog Naofa were treated to the sight of Santa and his trusty Elf arriving on their sleigh. Santa visited all the classrooms to sing songs, pose for photographs and most importantly deliver presents that were kindly sponsored by the Parents Association.

County Final Win
Last Tuesday 20th Nov. 2007 our school defeated Boherlahan in the County Football Final played in Holycross. This was a tremendous game of football played by two very skillful teams in tough conditions and we were delighted to come through on the scoreline of 4-0 to 1-3. The goals came from Jesse McKenna, Ciaran Maher, Jason Jordan and Shane Skelly and we also had tremendous defensive efforts from Tom Murphy, Tommy o Gorman, Chris McCullagh and JJ Darmody while Niall Heffernan and Matthew Ryan played vital roles at midfield. Shane Ryan made an impression when introduced and the rest of the panel included Pierce Cleary, David O Connell, Jade Callanan, Samantha Cawley, Killian Dunne, Liam Lanigan, Kieran Cummins, Darren Maher and William Bowe. Well done to Tommy O Gorman who accepted the shield on behalf of Scoil Mochaomhog Naofa and he also congratulated Boherlahan on playing their part in a great final. Thanks also to the support who cheered loudly throughout and to all the parents who drove children to the games during the year.
